Guide to Dual Wielding





It should be noted that values shown below reflect the ability and/or morph once it is fully trained which sometimes differs from earlier costs, durations, or damage values. All costs and damage values here are without attribute points placed, without equipment, without passive skills acquired or active skills slotted and without champion points spent to make it easier to compare skills regardless of gear/build differences.

Since Mundus buffs can be changed but not removed, either no mundus buff was in place (template character on PTS) or the Lover mundus (which only alters penetration) was used.

Remember that if a skill costs Magicka, it scales with your maximum Magicka (and Spell Damage) while if a skill costs Stamina, it scales with your maximum Stamina (and Weapon Damage). Ultimate abilities and Synergies scale with the combination that provides you with the best offensive stats.




Weapon Skills: Dual Wield

Morph Option 1 Rapid Strikes Each hit increases the damage of the subsequent hit by 3%. 2700 Stamina
Morph Option 2 Bloodthirst Also heals you for 33%60% of the damage inflicted by each the final hit. 2700 Stamina
4 Twin Slashes
(range: 5 meters)
Each weapon deals 207 Physical Damage then after 2 seconds bleed for another 1145 Physical Damage over 10 seconds. 2160 Stamina
Morph Option 1 Rending Slashes Initial damage is now 247 Physical Damage with each weapon; also reduces the target's Movement Speed by 40% for 4 seconds. 2160 Stamina
Morph Option 2 Blood Craze Also heals you for 156 Health every 2 seconds for 10 seconds. 2160 Stamina
5 Slaughter Increases the damage of Dual Wield abilities by 10% against enemies under 25% Health. Passive
10 Dual Wield Expert Boost Weapon Damage by 3% of the off-hand weapon's damage. Passive
14 Whirlwind
(radius: 5 meters)
Cause 615 Physical Damage to enemies within 5 meters. 3510 Stamina
Morph Option 1 Whirling Blades Also grants Major Endurance for 10 seconds. Now also causes up to 50% more damage to enemies based on their missing Health. 3510 Stamina
Morph Option 2 Steel Tornado
(radius: 9 meters)
Increases the radius from 5 meters to 9 meters as well as reducing the cost. 3240 Stamina
17 Dual Wield Expert II Boost Weapon Damage by 6% of the off-hand weapon's damage. Passive
20 Blade Cloak
(radius: 5 meters)
Deal 143 Physical Damage to all nearby enemies every 3 seconds for 15 seconds and also grants Major Evasion for 15 seconds. 3780 Stamina
Morph Option 1 Quick Cloak Also gain Major Expedition for the first 4 seconds. 3780 Stamina
Morph Option 2 Deadly Cloak Boosts each tick of damage to 215 Physical Damage. 3780 Stamina
25 Controlled Fury Reduces the cost of Dual Wield abilities by 7%. Passive
28 Ruffian While dual-wielding, increase damage done by 8% if attacking stunned, immobilized, disoriented, or silenced enemies. Passive
30 Slaughter II Increases the damage of Dual Wield abilities by 20% against enemies under 25% Health. Passive
34 Controlled Fury II Reduces the cost of Dual Wield abilities by 15%. Passive
38 Hidden Blade
(range: 20 meters)
Gain Major Brutality for 20 seconds and throw a dagger to deal 660 Physical Damage. 2970 Stamina
Morph Option 1 Shrouded Daggers
(radius: 8 meters)
The dagger bounces up to 8 meters to hit 2 additional enemies, dealing 811 Physical Damage on the 1st bounce and 973 Physical Damage on the 2nd bounce. 2970 Stamina
Morph Option 2 Flying Blade
(range: 28 meters)
Now has a range of 28 meters and increases the dagger's damage to 787 Physical Damage. 2970 Stamina
41 Twin Blade & Blunt Gain a bonus based on the type of weapons equipped as follows:
  • each sword boosts your damage (including spells) by 1%
  • each dagger increases Weapon Critical rating by 438
  • each mace empowers bypassing 5% Physical Resistance
  • each axe grants a 4% chance to bleed enemies for 855 Physical Damage over 6 seconds
Passive
46 Ruffian II While dual-wielding, increase damage done by 15% if attacking stunned, immobilized, disoriented, or silenced enemies. Passive
50 Twin Blade & Blunt II Gain a bonus based on the type of weapons equipped as follows:
  • each sword boosts your damage (including spells) by 3%
  • each dagger increases Weapon Critical rating by 1095
  • each mace empowers bypassing 10% Physical Resistance
  • each axe grants a 8% chance to bleed enemies for 855 Physical Damage over 6 seconds
Passive
50 Lacerate
(AoE: 7 x 8 meters)
Cause 2460 Physical Damage over 8 seconds to enemies in front of you while healing for 50% of the damage done. 150 Ultimate
Morph Option 1 Rend Lengthens the duration so it now causes 4581 Physcial Damage over 16 seconds. 150 Ultimate
Morph Option 2 Thrive in Chaos For each enemy hit your damage is increased by 5% for the duration, up to a maximum of 30% more damage dealt. 150 Ultimate
