Guide to Two-Handed Weapons





It should be noted that values shown below reflect the ability and/or morph once it is fully trained which sometimes differs from earlier costs, durations, or damage values. All costs and damage values here are without attribute points placed, without equipment, without passive skills acquired or active skills slotted and without champion points spent to make it easier to compare skills regardless of gear/build differences.

Since Mundus buffs can be changed but not removed, either no mundus buff was in place (template character on PTS) or the Lover mundus (which only alters penetration) was used.

Remember that if a skill costs Magicka, it scales with your maximum Magicka (and Spell Damage) while if a skill costs Stamina, it scales with your maximum Stamina (and Weapon Damage). Ultimate abilities and Synergies scale with the combination that provides you with the best offensive stats.

Morph Option 1 Dizzying Swing The damage increases to 1082 Physical Damage. Also Stuns for 3.5 seconds and Knocks Back 4 meters. 3240 Stamina
Morph Option 2 Wrecking Blow Also gain Major Empower for 5 seconds. 3240 Stamina
4 Critical Charge
(range: 22 meters)
Rush an enemy to deal 492 Physical Damage in an attack that is always a Critical Strike. 3780 Stamina
Morph Option 1 Stampede Also reduces the target's Movement Speed by 60% for 4 seconds. 3780 Stamina
Morph Option 2 Critical Rush The base damage increases to 509 Physical Damage and will also deal up to 40% more damage based on the distance traversed. 3780 Stamina
5 Forceful Light & Heavy Attacks with a 2-handed weapon also damage up to 3 nearby enemies for 25% of the damage to the primary target. Passive
10 Heavy Weapons A battle-axe grants a 8% chance to bleed 855 Physical Damage over 6 seconds, a greatsword increases all damage done by 2%, and a maul bypasses 10% of the target's Physical Resistance. Passive
14 Cleave
(300° to 6 meters) (140° to 7 meters)
Deal 615 Physical Damage to all enemies in front of you. 3240 3510 Stamina
Morph Option 1 Carve A more severe wound causes 636 Physical Damage followed by 1130 Physical Damage over 10 seconds as additional bleeding, stacking up to 3 times. 3240 3510 Stamina
Morph Option 2 Brawler The initial damage increases to 636 Physical Damage. Also gain a damage shield that absorbs 620? 575 damage plus 50% per enemy hit for up to 8 seconds. 3240 3510 Stamina
17 Balanced Blade Reduces the cost of Two-Handed abilities by 7%. Passive
20 Reverse Slash
(range: 5 meters)
Deal 410 Physical Damage plus up to 300% more damage to enemies with less than 50% Health. 2160 Stamina
Morph Option 1 Reverse Slice
(radius: 5 meters)
Other enemies within 5 meters suffer 65% of the damage done to the primary target. 2160 Stamina
Morph Option 2 Executioner Increases the additional damage to enemies under 50% health to 350%. 2160 Stamina
25 Heavy Weapons II A battle-axe grants a 16% chance to bleed 855 Physical Damage over 6 seconds, a greatsword increases all damage done by 6%, and a maul bypasses 20% of the target's Physical Resistance. Passive
28 Balanced Blade II Reduces the cost of Two-Handed abilities by 15%. Passive
30 Follow Up Successful Heavy Attacks increase the damage of your next direct damage attack within 7 seconds by 5%. Passive
34 Forceful II Light & Heavy Attacks with a 2-handed weapon also damage up to 3 nearby enemies for 50% of the damage to the primary target. Passive
38 Momentum For 33 seconds gain Major Brutality and heal for 119 Health every 2 seconds. 4051 Stamina
Morph Option 1 Forward Momentum Reduces the cost and also removes snares or immobilization effects upon you then grants immunity to those for 4 seconds. 2971 Stamina
Morph Option 2 Rally When it expires, heal an additional 184 Health (increased by up to 564% in proportion to length of time Rally was active). 4051 Stamina
41 Battle Rush If a two-Handed weapon is equipped, increase Stamina Recovery by 15% for 10 seconds after killing a target. Passive
46 Follow Up II Successful Heavy Attacks increase the damage of your next direct damage attack within 7 seconds by 10%. Passive
50 Battle Rush II If a two-Handed weapon is equipped, increase Stamina Recovery by 30% for 10 seconds after killing a target. Passive
50 Berserker Strike
(range: 5 meters)
Strike for 1437 Physical Damage that bypasses the target's Physical Resistance and gain Physical & Spell Resistance equal to the amount ignored for 8 seconds. 150 Ultimate
Morph Option 1 Onslaught Additionally, killing an enemy with this ability immediately refunds the Ultimate cost. 150 Ultimate
Morph Option 2 Berserker Rage Also gain immunity to all disabling, snare, and immobilization effects. 150 Ultimate
